Summary: This place is a hidden gem! We had a family reunion there which included both older people and young children and it was perfect for everyone. We were able to rent out the entire place which I highly recommend! The kids could run free while the adults talked and caught up. We cooked several meals in the outdoor kitchens which was really easy and fun. All modern conveniences are provided so you get the benefits of camping without all the work. The beds are like clouds and we all slept great. We spent one day at Mesa Verde Park (book a tour if you can) and one day at the Hot Springs and Spa in Durango. We wanted to do Silverton Mine Tour but it was too far. But we do recommend Train Museum in Durango- jampacked with local train historical items.
