This first floor apartment is beautifully furnished, mainly in the monochrome tones suggested by the smart exterior, but with gorgeous pops of colour throughout from the tasteful accessories and modern artworks. Situated less than 10 miles from Glasgow, and surrounded by rolling countryside, Paisley is a perfect place to visit. It’s home to a host of architectural treasures, historic gems and a vibrant cultural scene.
Once an important centre of the weaving industry, it gave its name to the Paisley Pattern, made fashionable after being worn by a young Queen Victoria and later the Beatles. In fact, the Paisley Museum maintains a significant collection of the original shawls, pattern books and working looms. The historical centre also has Scotland’s largest concentration of listed buildings outside of Edinburgh, including an array of magnificent civic buildings and churches. Even better, it is easily walkable.
In more recent times, a thriving contemporary cultural scene has developed helped by local musicians, such as singer Paolo Nutini, and various different artists and creatives.
