Positive: Location close to the beach and beach bar, parking, apartment spacious with lovely terraces & views, comfy bed, great bathroom, safe. Janka very helpful with the issues we had.

Negative: Rather a lot of issues, sadly. Not all the owners’ fault, but the apartment definitely needs serious attention. If these get sorted, it will be a perfect holiday home Comedy of errors comes to mind: upon arrival we were informed the aircon was not functional-not too much of an issue for us having grown up in Africa but for some it would in 30 degree heat. Then the electrics started playing up so we ended up with no power from all sockets kitchen side which meant kettle on sitting room floor, no washing machine use, but most importantly we were getting electric shocks from the plugs that did work!! We have been assured an electrician would be in as soon as we left: I do hope so as this was not safe. Then there was a water outage in the entire building (not owners’ fault) so we were supplied with bottled water… not ideal - luckily it came back on by next morning, although 2nd shower room took a further 24 hours to get water back.We had to laugh by this time, and when front door handle fell off and key to main building gate didn’t work we kept laughing. Other small details would be cupboards full of cleaning products so nowhere to store our foodstuffs, no colander or proper big cheese grater (who doesn’t make spag Bol ?!) and 32 towels taking up a lot of drawers! Quite nice to indulge in clean towel extravaganza though! In all, we had a nice stay once we’d found our sense of humour and if ALL the blips get sorted we’d say it was a great place for a relaxing holiday! Janka was as helpful as she could be in the circumstances- and hubby was gifted a bottle of his favourite rum which helped soothe the grumpiness! Only other thing was the pool only opening between 12 and 6….. annoying building rule.

Summary: Great potential - needs a lot of attention!
