"EL GRILLO" - an old farmhouse - is situated in a quiet location on the edge of the old village centre of NÍJAR, a village at the foot of the Sierra Alhamilla, 20 km from Almería airport and 25-30 km from the unspoilt beaches of the CABO DE GATA-NÍJAR NATURE PARK, in the south-east of Andalusia. The holiday home offers space for a maximum of 6 people and has 3 bedrooms, several terraces, a swimming pool ("Balsa") and a shady seating area in the middle of a lush garden.
The village square, shops and restaurants are a five-minute walk away. The quietly situated house has several terraces, one of which is in front of the house, another is directly accessible from the kitchen and offers two shaded seating areas in the middle of the large and lush garden. EL GRILLO is a 200 year old farmhouse remodelled in a traditional style and can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. It has 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 3 bathrooms, lounge, terraces, study and kitchen. In addition to the necessary equipment, there is a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, DVD player and Internet WIFI. In winter, the house can be heated with a wood-burning stove and an open fireplace. In the summer months from June to September, a "balsa" serves as a swimming pool. "Balsas" are large basins that are used in the area to irrigate the fields. The water is filtered and treated during this time.
