The El Granero cottage, part of the Cortijo Los Lobos mountain retreat, offers a private courtyard with dining table, gas bbq and sofas.Children love the spiral staircase to the loft bedroom. Situated in beautiful olive groves and pine clad countryside, 5 minutes from the village of Villanueva del Trabuco, 40 minutes from Granada and Malaga airports, close to the major tourist cities and national parks such as El Torcal, El Camino del rey, lakes and beaches. With breathtaking mountain views and a spectacular rural location, (but with easy access, no dirt tracks), heated pool and gardens, you can enjoy a relaxing holiday, take a mountain hike or ride one of our well behaved horses in our peaceful corner of Andalucia. The Farm has been beautifully restored to retain all the charm but with modern conveniences, offering numerous quiet little areas for relaxing in the shade or the sun plus a large pool patio with enough sunbeds for everyone. The pool is shared with other guests but as most people like to spend at least some of their holiday sightseeing, you will often find you have the pool to yourself. There’s a small children's play area and friendly pets, it is an animal lover's paradise. Care is taken to ensure that everywhere is clean and beautifully presented, with flowers in pots and pretty cushions. We live on site to ensure that if there's a problem it will be sorted immediately (though we remain discreetly in the background and will not bother you during your holiday unless needed). The pool is heated from April until around the end of October. A paradise for walkers and nature lovers, we believe we have some of the best views and walking trails in Spain. All apartments are fully equipped for self catering but if you would like a night off from cooking the village has numerous restaurants to choose from.*twin beds can be made up as kingsize if you are 2 couples.
