Cala Santanyi is close to the village of Santanyi. A beautiful sandy bay protected by cliffs looks out onto clear blue waters. There are a couple of hotels and several beach restaurants and also a diving school. Ideal for children, you can hire out beds and sun umbrellas and the car park is right at the side of the beach.
Santanyí, a sleepy town that has become cosmopolitan due to the insurgence of foreign buyers, is a mixture of traditional with interior designer boutiques and international restaurants, is only 2 km away. Santanyi twice weekly markets, Wednesday and Saturday held in the towns square, offer many hand crafted jewellery, flower, fresh local products and leather goods stalls.
