You can leave the car at the cottage and stroll through the Crown conservation area and into the centre of the city in under five minutes. You’ll likely want to stay in Crown though as it’s got all you’ll need, a couple of great pubs, a brilliant coffee shop come ice cream parlour, another award-winning coffee shop come bike mechanics, as well as other independents.
Just outside the Crown area, only a short walk away is a mature parkland golf course waiting to be played.
