If you've brought your bikes, Grizedale Forest is just 2 miles away and boasts miles of tracks. If you fancy something gentler, mosey around Hill Top (2.5 miles) in Near Sawrey to step into Beatrix Potter's world. Ambleside is only 6 miles away, with cafes, cosy pubs, independent shopping, and Windermere boat trips.
Make your way through the rose-clad porch and into the Georgian sitting room, where an inglenook fireplace houses a wood burner, inviting you to unwind, flick on the Smart TV or simply take in the pretty garden views. For more relaxation and space for the group to spread out, a separate Tudor-style sitting room features another wood burner and a Smart TV.
