Simply set off from your doorstep to hike or bike across the nearby fells, always ensuring to stop by a local pub on the way home. Or, for more options in dining and drinking, the local town of Keswick is well worth the short drive (11.5 miles).
Surrounded by mature gardens and with climbing plants clinging to the facade, head inside and find plenty of spacious rooms with traditional elements and decor maintained. Leave muddy boots in the porch and venture into the dining room, a grand area with space for all to dine together. Each of these bedrooms features an en-suite bathroom with WC and shower offering you an added touch of privacy throughout your stay. Two bedrooms have been made up as double rooms, there is also a four poster double room plus a bunk bed room with an additional single bed.
