Or, for an adrenaline rush, Whinlatter Forest offers a wealth of mountain bike trails together with a Go Ape high ropes course and is just 2 miles away.
Inside, this period cottage has been tastefully modernised to retain plenty of original charm through exposed stonework and two charming fireplaces, with the welcome additions of wood burners, fresh décor, and modern appliances. Entertain in the spacious and open plan kitchen/diner, which is a fabulous social space fitted with chic contemporary units, an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, dining table and wood burner.
