The nearest town of Broughton-in-Furness (2.5 miles) is a delightful village with local butchers, shops and multiple pubs. To the north, there is ample adventure – enjoy a thrilling drive over the challenging Hardknott Pass (10.5 miles), the steepest road in England, before descending into the postcard village of Eskdale (11.5 miles) where you can enjoy a day out on the La’al Ratty.

Upstairs, the hallway leads you to the first of the three bedrooms, an inviting and characterful bedroom with a king-size sleigh bed. Across the hall, the second bedroom boasts a stately king-size bed made of brass. This lovely room also offers an en-suite bathroom where you can soak up the bubbles before getting your head down for the evening. The third bedroom is exceptionally charming, with a curtained four-poster king-size bed and a smaller single bed for flexible sleeping. The family bathroom further along the hall offers a walk-in shower and an elegant bath.
To complete the property, the outside space is landscaped – with both lawn and patio, this is a great space for those warmer evenings to dine alfresco or enjoy a good book while soaking up the sun.
